U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary visits Philippines

UNITED States deputy defense secretary Ash Carter arrived in the Philippines as part of his travel to other Asian countries from March 17 to 21, the U.S. Embassy in Manila said on Saturday.

Carter will travel to Japan , South Korea , the Philippines and Indonesia to continue US defense consultations on a range of common security challenges, the embassy said in a statement.

Carter served as assistant secretary of defense and international security policy during the Clinton Administration. United States Deputy Defense Secretary Ash Carter arrived in Manila and AGES Aviation Center, Inc. was there to promptly provide full ground handling service to the Deputy Defense Secretary and entourage’s aircraft a militarized Boeing 737.
