Stephen Curry arrived in the Philippines last Saturday straight from Tokyo, Japan for a one-day visit as part of Under Armour’s five-city, three-country show.
Curry, the reigning NBA MVP who helped power the Golden State Warriors to this year’s NBA championship, held a media day at the Raffles Hotel in Makati City, just a few hours after his arrival.
In the afternoon, he went straight to the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, where he had several activities with some local endorsers of Under Armour for rabid Filipino basketball fans.
Ages was once again chosen specifically to be the FBO of choice by Under Armour as they flew in their private all black Gulfstream 550 which included no less than their CEO and Founder Kevin Plank on board.
Arrival and Departureclearing for Customs, Immigration and Quarantine formalities were all seamlessly done at planeside in the very comfortable and highly secured “Ages” Ramp. Once again because of the good preparation, Kevin and Stephen where very much relax and took time to say hello to the airport officials that were present during his arrival.
When all was said and done Captain Paul Villagomez had this to say: “Best, most impressive reception ever in my 8 years at UA (Under Armour).” He went on further with: “Exceptionally attentive staff! We are very impressed with the level of service.”
