TONY BLAIR VISITS MANILA

tony-blairFormer British Prime Minister Tony Blair visited Manila last March 23 for several speaking engagement discussing “the leader as negotiator” which was organized by the Ateneo de Manila University together with De La Salle University, with PLDT as a key sponsor. As British prime minister, Blair forged a peace agreement in Northern Ireland after several decades of armed conflict.

During the former Prime Minister’s visit all FBO Service was handled by Ages Aviation Center, Inc. Including coordinating with the British Embassy of Manila, the Philippine Air Force, Malacañang Palace Protocol, and the Philippine Presidential Security Group.

Ages provided complete Ground Handling Service for the Global 5000 which Mr. Blair took from Abudhabi to Beijing .

GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE DEMO FLIGHT

ASIAN FOOTBALL CONFEDERATION (AFC) IN MANILA

afcAnother First for Ages Aviation Center, Inc. last 23 Feb, we provided FBO service to the visiting Asian Football Confederation (AFC) attending the 5th Ordinary Congress hosted by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF). Among the distinguished guest was AFC President Mr. Mohamed bin Hammam Al-Abdulla.

The AFC delegation arrived in Manila aboard a borrowed Gulfstream G550 due to their original aircraft an Airbus A310 suffering some technical problems in Indonesia. Ages Aviation Center, Inc. processed the short notice entry/exit landing permit for the flight and also provided the ground handling service ensuring a quick turnaround getting the stunning G550 back to Indonesia in no time. The A310 soon followed after the repairs were completed and Ages Aviation Center, Inc. provided FBO service in Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

His Majesty The Sultan of Brunei Haji Hassaal Bolkiah on a state visit to the Philippines in 29 -31 January 2009. He arrived on the Ages Aviation steps after leaving his B747-400 private Aircraft at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

VOLGA DNEPR AIRLINES MAKES Technical Stops in Manila/ RPLL Philippines.

volgaMNL/RPLL proves once more that it is the preferred technical stop destination of Volga DNEPR Airlines and that Ages Aviation Center remain their preferred ground handler in the Philippines.

The Volga AN124-100 which is the largest aircraft in the world made three technical stops in Manila/RPLL. Even with the varying late nights and early morning arrival and departures,  all Technical Stops remained on schedule.

ADMIRAL KEATING IN MANILA

keatingThe Commander of the South Pacific Command, Admiral Keating arrived Manila on board his military C-40 aircraft which was met and handled by Ages Aviation Center, Inc. Complete fleet service was provided for the C-40 aircraft which remained overnight in Manila.

INTERNATIONAL CLOTHES RETAILER MANGO

mangoThe international clothes retailer MANGO was a recent visitor of the Philippines. The executives of MANGO arrived on a Global Express business jet which was handled by Ages Aviation Center, Inc. To complete the “FBO” services for this distinguished client, Ages provided the private transportation for the visiting party of MANGO for their site inspection requirement. The private transportation was not only equipped with comfortable seats and efficient airconditioning, it had also an airport ramp access that allowed the MANGO executives to be picked up at aircraft side and brought back from their site visits directly to aircraft side for their subsequent departure.

As the leading “FBO” at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Ages can and will provide most if not all the special requirements of the discriminating business jet traveler.

We are pleased to share with you recent developments in Manila, RPLL. All aircrafts handled by Ages Aviation Center, Inc. have been granted “direct to ramp” access. In the past all foreign registry aircraft will have to proceed to either the International Cargo Terminal (ICT) or the remote parking area for security clearing. Today we are pleased to inform you that Ages has been able to negotiate direct to Ages ramp clearing for all Ages Aviation Center, Inc. handled flight.

With the valuable time of the client in mind and crew rest, Ages worked with the Manila International Airport Authority’s (MIAA) Management for this special consideration.

KUOK GROUP OF COMPANIES

kuokKuok Group of Companies Chairman Robert Kuok, together with Ean Kuok, Shngri-la Asia Chairman arrived by private jet handled by Ages Aviation Center, Inc. on July 2, 2008. 

The visit was for the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between corporate giants San Miguel Corp. and the Kuok Group of Companies. 

Dubbed “Feeding our Future”, the project will involve a total of $1 billion to identify, evaluate, and develop at least one million hectares of government land suitable for food production to address the growing concern over the country’s food security. 

The signing of the MOU was withnessed by President Gloria Macapagal- Arroyo, San Miguel Corp. Chairman & CEO Eduardo Cojuangco, Jr. together with Armed Forces Chief, Gen. Alexander Yano, Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap, Environment and Natural Resources Undersecretary Mary Amm Lucill eSering, and National Power Corp. president Cyrell Del Callar.

TOP MILITARY OFFICER VISITS MANILA

top-militaryAdmiral Michael G. Mullen, chairman of the United States Armed Forces Joint Chiefs of Staff made a second time visit to the Philippines. On Board a C-17 aircraft, Admiral Mullen arrived at 2000H, 01 June 2008. Admiral Mullen, expressed the full support to the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) campaign against terrorism and modernization programs. He left of 02 June 2008. All aircraft handling was provided for by Ages Aviation Center, Inc.  In the picture Admiral Mullen is honored by General Badilla of the Philippine Air Force (PAF). Also in the Picture is U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenney.
