FOREIGNERS DEPART MANILA FOR MALAYSIA, SOUTH AFRICA AND ZIMBABWE
June 25, 2020

Committed in providing service to the world during these challenging times, Ages Aviation Center, Inc. provided service to a chartered Boeing 767 Air Zimbabwe aircraft last Thursday aiding nationals from Malaysia, South Africa and Zimbabwe who were still in the Philippines, to go home after the Philippines closed its borders due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Ages provided full passenger handling services—which included special arrangements for check-in counters at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1, assisting passengers through the departure clearing and health screening process in addition to gate arrangements for passenger aircraft boarding. Because of safety protocols set by the carrier, Ages made special arrangements by request for passengers to board through the aircraft rear door while following the guidelines of the Philippine Government’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infections Diseases (AITF-EID).

Upholding its commitment to ensuring efficient and effective ground handling services despite unique conditions, Ages is privileged to provide this exclusive service to Air Zimbabwe and its passengers. We wish them well on their journey home.

COVID-19 TEST KITS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ARRIVE IN MANILA
MAY 9 & 10, 2020

CHINA has donated another set of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) test kits and protective equipment to the Philippines, according to the Chinese Embassy in Manila who shared the information to the media last Sunday.

The donation included 150,000 testing kits, 100 ventilators, 70,000 medical protective suits, 70,000 N95 medical masks, 1.3 million surgical masks and 70,000 medical protective goggles.

“We hope these urgently-needed medical supplies could be allotted to the frontliners as soon as possible,” Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines, Huang Xilian, expressed.

Ages Aviation provided cargo handling service to Juneyao Airlines’ cargo-only flights from Shanghai to Manila—and with 40 years of experience in the industry, Ages arranged swift offloading of these COVID-19 test kits and protective equipment from the aircraft cabin and delivered it straight to the warehouse where the Department of Health (DOH) was able to properly receive the items for immediate distribution.

Ages is one with the world in its fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Unparalleled service to assisting everyone else in keeping healthy and safe.

Dave Chappelle LIVE in Manila
January 14-15, 2020

American actor and comedian Dave Chappelle brought his award-winning stand-up comedy show to Manila for the first time to The Theatre at Solaire Resort and Casino last January 14 and 15, 2020

For the past four years, the 46-year old writer-producer has performed in over 1,600 shows worldwide. The comic has five Netflix comedy specials, his latest one being the Grammy-nominated Sticks and Stones. The Art of Spin, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Equanimity, and The Bird Revelations each bagged a Grammy award for Best Comedy Album in 2018 and 2019.

Ages is honored to have been of service to Mr. Chappelle and his family who arrived in Manila days before his show to enjoy one of the Philippines’ renowned beaches. Mr. Chappelle arrived on a private Bombardier Global Express that was parked at the Balagbag “AGES” Ramp which is a stone’s throw away from the Ages lounge where he and his guests could relax and wait prior to their flight.

Mr. Chappelle’s aircraft was on the ground when Taal Volcano erupted and was at one point covered with ash from the eruption. Ages provided complete aircraft exterior washing to the GLEX and ensured that it was free and clear from all residue as a result of the ashfall in time for Mr. Chappelle’s early departure from Manila after his show.

It was both a pleasure and privilege being of service to this Emmy-winning celebrity.

The Sultan also joined President Rodrigo Duterte during the opening ceremonies of the Southeast Asian Games at the Philippine Arena.

Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez welcomed the monarch to the Philippines at the Balagbag “AGES” Ramp and saw him off the following day.

It was an honor once again to be of service to His Majesty the Sultan’s Flight (HMSF)—AGES was even more honored to provide full VVIP ground handling services to His Majesty who flew his own Boeing 787 to and from MNL/RPLL.

It was a privilege for AGES to have hosted members of both the Philippine Government and the Brunei Embassy in Manila at the Ages lounge during the occasion. The Ages lounge has become the second home of the Brunei Embassy Manila these past few weeks while receiving members of the Royal family who are participating in the SEA Games.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark T. Esper visited the Philippines for the first time as Defense Secretary to reaffirm the steadfast and enduring U.S. – Philippine alliance.

While in the Philippines, Secretary Esper together with U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines, Mr. Sung Kim, met with the Philippine Secretary of National Defense Delfin Lorenzana and Secretary of Foreign Affairs Teodoro Locsin, Jr., to discuss the importance of our broad bilateral relationship in the Indo-Pacific region.
